Oh no you didn't...Oh yes I did.....

this is a pic of my small bathroom off of my family room, it's my favorite room in the house....love my English Hunt Scene paper. It's not for everyone, but it is for ME....
I love putting fresh tree sprays over my prints at Christmas...it's soooo pretty.
Ho! Ho! Ho! I went over to Lowes to buy some fresh garland for my front porch...and as I was at the register I noticed some greenery freshly cut from some Christmas trees they had just sold. So....I ask the cashier if they were throwing those branches away....uh I think so she replied. May I take some please? Sure....and before she could turn around I had dashed over to the branches and loaded up my truck - ha....I knew exactly where those branches were headed...and the trash wasn't it! So...here are a few pictures of the outside decorations....the branches look so pretty in my pots don't they? Well...we're only at the beginning...much more to do this weekend. Burrr....it's really cold out today too! Hope everyone is enjoying the day. I've got my office Christmas party this evening....I'm really excited...I'll post pictures later!

  5. I wired my tree clippings to an old rectangular frame, tied some brown satin ribbon on it, and hung it on the wall. I also love to tie little clumps with ribbon and put them throughout the house. I never throw anything green away! Your Christmas decorations look great!

  6. Your entry way and front porch are just so attractive - makes me want to ring your door bell! Great getting the free greens - I've done that in the past too so will try again this year!

Love that hunting wallpaper - so different and of course very English.

Love it when you stop by - so come any time. Enjoy the weekend - it's getting Christmassy around our neighbrhood - guess people will be decorating this weekend as it's dry and pleasant out.

  9. Great minds think alike! I just choppeddown my tree this morning at a tree farm. You can cut your own or buy them already cut. They offered me all of there trimmings for free and I scooped them up! Can't wait to start decorating with them. I might steal your urn idea!

  10. I am in love with your porch decorating. It's so warm and inviting I may just ring the doorbell. This morning my church had it's annual greens sale and I got the most gorgeous boxwood wreath for the front door. It cost a small fortune but it's so beautiful and the money goes to the church. Heading out now to my front porch to decorate. xo Lynn

  12. Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is that hand painted rooster door plaque over at theVintageNest. It would go so well with the rooster plates on my list. I have been a real good girl this year and I promise to leave cookies and milk or champagne and home made cheese crackers (your choice) for you Christmas Eve. Love, Rose

P.S. Rose have fun at your party tonite. ~ Lynn

  13. Rose,
Your decorations are lovely. I love you hunt scene wallpaper and have been looking for a good one with a light background just like the one you have in your darling bathroom. Most that I have liked have a dark background. Would you mind sharing the name of your paper.
I glad you stopped by my blog, please come back any time.
    Hugs,
    Sue
