Pray for Aaron...

I hope Sue from Life at Home doesn't mind me sending you over to her blog for some prayers...and support. I just found Sue's blog a few days ago...and have had her and Aaron on my mind since then. Aaron had an allergic reaction to penicillin, and he's fighting it as we speak. Please stop over and pray for their family. As a wife and mother of boys...I feel her anguish...

I'm also a believer in the power of prayer.

Happy Thursday!

  1. Rose,
Thank you so much for this post. The power of prayer is what is getting us through this and the more people praying for Aaron the better. You are so kind and I feel you Mom to Mom feelings.
I am adding you to my favorites so that I can stop back when we have more time and look around your beautiful blog. It seems like I have been by before because the hunt scene wallpaper looks familiar.
    Hugs and blessings,
    Sue

  2. Hi, Rose, thanks for stopping by to see me again. It's always nice to hear from you & everyone else.
Your house is so pretty. Congrats on winning those pillows! I entered that one too, love Angela's blog too. And I see we have the same paint color, Whole Wheat. Don't you love that color? It's been perfect for my house.

I've been praying for Sue's son too. I know he's going to get well!

  4. I will keep them in my prayers.
You asked about the backsplash that I used in my brother's kitchen.........it's a special order from Lowes. They have a few other styles to choose from. Home Depot had it in a catalog, as well, but it was quite a bit more money there. It has a stone tile appearance and come in a a few sizes.

  6. Rose, just wanted to let you know I have been lurking around your "house" for some time. I just love your site and your decorating is inspirational!!! I also work full time for an oil & gas company - mine's not so large though. I have started a blog - I have been so inspired by so many of you wonderful ladies. I am lost as a goose - but I'll get there!! Thanks ago for such a great "home"!!
