Back in Business...

Boy....I think this is the longest I've ever been without internet service at home, and was it rough. For some reason we were having a big issue with our router and wireless, and finally I was able to get it figured out, and so now I've got a lot of visiting to do with all of you. So, it will take me a while to get around to saying hello, but I'll get there.

I had a rough week, mom spent the past five days in the hospital and finally came home yesterday. She is on the road back to recovery, but in a lot of pain. They determined she has a tear in her rotator cuff, and boy let me tell you it's no picnic. But we are grateful she's doing well otherwise, and of course we're so happy she is home.

I don't have any new pictures to share, so I'll put a few snapshots of our backyard, where we do spend a lot of time during the summer. My boys have been night swimming almost every evening, and then they sleep really good!

  2. The new look is a lot of pink...isn't it? LOL.....Been wondering where you've been. So sorry about Mom...hope she's doing better each and every day. Isn't night swimming the best? I love to look at our pool at night with the lights on. Problem is Bobby G. won't let the lights stay on for long because it attracts so many bugs. ugh! xo Lynn

  3. I sure have missed you, glad to see you are back. Sounds like Mom is in for a tough ride, hopefully the pain will diminish soon. Pool therapy is a wonderful tool for her to try.
Missing my pool terribly now. Enjoy the week!

  9. Your pool area is gorgeous - I am jealous! I would love to have one, but it would take up my whole backyard! Check out my new blog and let me know what you think. Spread the word! thehappyhomebody.blogspot.com
