Boy....I think this is the longest I've ever been without internet service at home, and was it rough. For some reason we were having a big issue with our router and wireless, and finally I was able to get it figured out, and so now I've got a lot of visiting to do with all of you. So, it will take me a while to get around to saying hello, but I'll get there.
I had a rough week, mom spent the past five days in the hospital and finally came home yesterday. She is on the road back to recovery, but in a lot of pain. They determined she has a tear in her rotator cuff, and boy let me tell you it's no picnic. But we are grateful she's doing well otherwise, and of course we're so happy she is home.
I don't have any new pictures to share, so I'll put a few snapshots of our backyard, where we do spend a lot of time during the summer. My boys have been night swimming almost every evening, and then they sleep really good!

Been missing you! Hope you mom recovers quickly and completely. I love your pool area!

The new look is a lot of pink...isn't it? LOL.....Been wondering where you've been. So sorry about Mom...hope she's doing better each and every day. Isn't night swimming the best? I love to look at our pool at night with the lights on. Problem is Bobby G. won't let the lights stay on for long because it attracts so many bugs. ugh! xo Lynn
ReplyDeleteI sure have missed you, glad to see you are back. Sounds like Mom is in for a tough ride, hopefully the pain will diminish soon. Pool therapy is a wonderful tool for her to try.
ReplyDeleteMissing my pool terribly now. Enjoy the week!
Welcome back! I love your back yard lite at night. I just did a post of our courtyard at night!

Hi Rose
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me. I hope you'll come again...you're always welcome. I've enjoyed my visit here tonight too. Your blog is so nice. I hope your Mom is feeling better real soon.
Hugs!

Your pool area is gorgeous - I am jealous! I would love to have one, but it would take up my whole backyard! Check out my new blog and let me know what you think. Spread the word! thehappyhomebody.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteRose, I have missed you! I will be praying for your Mom. John had the same problem with his shoulders. It is so painful. He was in agony.
ReplyDeleteSending you love, Nita
P.s Thank you for the kind comment you left me..
Thanks for sharing your pool pics...A pool is on my list by next summer! Nothing like a pool in the back yard! Nancy
ReplyDeleteThat pool looks very very big for being in someone's backyard. Ah....
